You need a valid email address to create an account and starting writing and editing. Only the Administrator, Markus Wolf, has visibility of your email address and he hates spam much more than you ever will and he is too lazy to write you emails (but smart enough to take steps to secure the db to protect your identity) instead he will contact you through your talk page. Don't use your real name on this site, get a free-mail address such as yahoo, gmail, hotmail and call it something obscure.
